Stormy weather... or where's the summer?!

This week I found out that can be seen and observed: 5 Sky Events and about that I already mentioned in my previous post. Unfortunately, the meteo aspects of the same week have obstructed the possibility to look the sky including the event of today when it was said that "After sunset on Friday, June 20, look toward the low northwest sky for the king of planets, brilliant Jupiter. The gas giant will make its closest approach to one of the Gemini constellation’s twins, Pollux, tonight. Appearing only 6 degrees apart, the two stellar objects are easy to see even from light-polluted suburbs, wherever there are no obstructions near the horizon."

But unhappily we will still keep the stormy weather and rainy atmosphere... that it will not let us, in a proper manner, obviously to see the sky...

By the way: On the ceiling of a hypermarket I've observed that are hung some pink funny indicators of "weather prognosis"?!! It looks to be an awesome idea... anyway.... outside the I've found the true face of the nature unleashed...

A week ago, in friday 13 was a giant moon called "Strawberry Moon"...(The Strawberry Moon of June is sometimes referred to by Europeans as the Rose Moon, while other cultures named it the Hot Moon for the beginning of the summer heat.")

...and because it is raining heavily* as it may say " it is still bucketing down".... Oh...yes I found this phrase "it was still bucketing down" that it means in romanian "plouă cu găleata"...

Blurred reflection...
It's a different vision (as a meteo aspect) in your part of the world? Maybe it's shiny and sunny or maybe, today, it's cloudy and tomorrow it will be rainy, after all... Just let me know...

So these are the last updates from our part of the world  and soon... it will be "Midsummer  ( in northern hemisphere), also known as St John's Day, is the period of time centered upon the summer solstice, and more specifically the Northern European celebrations that accompany the actual solstice or take place on a day between June 21 and June 25 and the preceding evening. The exact dates vary between different cultures. Because he was alleged to have been born on that day, the Christian Church designated June 24 as the feast day of the early Christian martyr St John the Baptist, and the observance of St John's Day begins the evening before, known as St John's Eve."

Did you know: from wikipedia:

White flowers of mirabelles in Spring
"In Romania, the Midsummer celebrations are named Drăgaica or Sânziene. Drăgaica is celebrated by a dance performed by a group of 5-7 young girls of which one is chosen as the Drăgaica. She is dressed as a bride, with wheat wreath, while the other girls, dressed in white wear a veil with bedstraw flowers. Midsummer fairs are held in many Romanian villages and cities. The oldest and best known midsummer fair in Romania is the Drăgaica fair, held in Buzău between 10 and 24 June every year. There are many superstitions related to this day, particularly those involving marriage or death. The term Sânziene originates in the Latin ”Sancta Diana”, and superstitions relating to this day are mainly erotic in nature, referring to young girls and their marriage prospects.

We're almost at the solstice of summer and in just a day we're also going to say Goodbye to "cheerful Springtime" with all its green buds, young leaves, fresh and fragile blooms, joyful days of new beginnings in all means and meanings...

 From Wikipedia & other source:
"The summer solstice occurs when the tilt of a planet's semi-axis, in either the northern or the southern hemisphere, is most inclined toward the star (sun) that it orbits. Earth's maximum axial tilt toward the sun is 23° 26'. This happens twice each year, at which times the sun reaches its highest position in the sky as seen from the north or the south pole.
The summer solstice occurs during a hemisphere's summer. This is northern solstice in the northern hemisphere and the southern solstice in the southern hemisphere. Depending on the shift of the calendar, the summer solstice occurs some time between December 20 and December 23 each year in the southern hemisphere and between June 20 and June 22 in the northern hemisphere."
Click to read more info about: "The June solstice marks the first day of the summer season in the northern hemisphere. The word solstice is from the Latin word “solstitium”, meaning “sun-stopping”, because the point at which the sun appears to rise and set stops and reverses direction after this day. On this day, the sun does not rise precisely in the east, but rises to the north of east and sets to the north of west allowing it to be in the sky for a longer period of time. In the southern hemisphere, the June solstice is known as the shortest day of the year. It is when the sun has reached its furthest point from the equator and marks the first day of winter."

White flowers of mirabelles in Spring; "The mirabelle plum, also known as the mirabelle prune (Prunus domestica subsp. syriaca), is the edible drupaceous fruit of the mirabelle prune tree, a cultivar of the plum tree of the genus Prunus. It is believed that the plum was cultivated from a wild fruit grown in Asia Minor. The mirabelle is identified by its small, oval shape, smooth-textured flesh, and especially by its dark yellow colour which becomes flecked in appearance. They are known for being sweet and full of flavour. The fruit is primarily used in jams and pies, and its juice is commonly fermented for wine or distilled into plum brandy. Ninety percent of mirabelle plums grown commercially are made into either jam (70%) or eau-de-vie (20%). The plums are also excellent when eaten fresh. In Romania, mirabelles are usually eaten before they are ripe. This is when they are sour and hard, but they are still enjoyed all over the country. It is arguable whether or not the fruit is better when ripe. The mirabelle reaches maturity and is harvested from July to mid-September (Northern Hemisphere). The traditional method of shaking the trees is now mechanized, but the principle remains the same: The ripe fruits are shaken loose and collected in a net under the tree." From wikipedia.

"Prunus armeniaca is a small tree, 8–12 m (26–39 ft) tall, with a trunk up to 40 cm (16 in) in diameter and a dense, spreading canopy. The leaves are ovate, 5–9 cm (2.0–3.5 in) long and 4–8 cm (1.6–3.1 in) wide, with a rounded base, a pointed tip and a finely serrated margin. The flowers are 2–4.5 cm (0.8–1.8 in) in diameter, with five white to pinkish petals; they are produced singly or in pairs in early spring before the leaves."
Apricot pink flowers (Prunus armeniaca)"Prunus armeniaca ("Armenian plum"), the most commonly cultivated apricot species, also called ansu apricot,Siberian apricot, Tibetan apricot, is a species of Prunus, classified with the plum in the subgenus Prunus. The native range is somewhat uncertain due to its extensive prehistoric cultivation." more infos in wikipedia.

...  As long as I mentioned before the term of bucket...   how about this summer plate, "pink bucket* of strawberries"... oh no, no kidding!!...   LOL... how I'm  feeling amused by...coincidence... or of playing with words....
Wikipedia: "The garden strawberry (or simply strawberry /ˈstrɔːb(ə)ri/; Fragaria × ananassa) is a widely grown hybrid species of the genus Fragaria (collectively known as the strawberries). It is cultivated worldwide for its fruit. The fruit (which is not a botanical berry, but an aggregate accessory fruit) is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness. It is consumed in large quantities, either fresh or in such prepared foods as preserves, fruit juice, pies, ice creams, milkshakes, and chocolates. Artificial strawberry aroma is also widely used in many industrial food products. The garden strawberry was first bred in Brittany, France, in the 1750s via a cross of Fragaria virginiana from eastern North America and Fragaria chiloensis, which was brought from Chile by Amédée-François Frézier in 1714. Cultivars of Fragaria × ananassa have replaced, in commercial production, the woodland strawberry (Fragaria vesca), which was the first strawberry species cultivated in the early 17th century. Technically, the strawberry is an aggregate accessory fruit, meaning that the fleshy part is derived not from the plant's ovaries but from the receptacle that holds the ovaries. Each apparent "seed" (achene) on the outside of the fruit is actually one of the ovaries of the flower, with a seed inside it."
In the shape of a heart... a bright reddish strawberry!!
Are fructul fals, format din ingrosarea receptaculului floral. Are culoarea rosie si este carnos, parfumat si foarte gustos, dulce."

"Happy Greetings from a sunny Springtime of May"!

"Taraxacum  is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Eurasia and North and South America, and two species, T. officinale and T. erythrospermum, are found as weeds worldwide. Both species are edible in their entirety. The common name dandelion ( DAN-di-ly-ən, from French dent-de-lion, meaning "lion's tooth") is given to members of the genus, and like other members of the Asteraceae family, they have very small flowers collected together into a composite flower head. Each single flower in a head is called a floret. Many Taraxacum species produce seeds asexually by apomixis, where the seeds are produced without pollination, resulting in offspring that are genetically identical to the parent plant".

 Wild strawberries/ Fragaria
"Fragul - denumire științifică Fragaria vesca, denumire populară agrange, buruiană de fragi, căpșuni de pădure, fragi de pădure, frăguță sălbatică, fronză, vărăguțe,fragi-de-cîmp. Specie cu un areal mare de răspîndire cuprizînd Europa, Nordul Africii, America de Nord și de Sud."

"Fragaria  is a genus of flowering plants in the rose family, Rosaceae, commonly known as strawberries for their edible fruits. There are more than 20 described species and many hybrids and cultivars. The most common strawberries grown commercially are cultivars of the garden strawberry, a hybrid known as Fragaria × ananassa. Strawberries have a taste that varies by cultivar, and ranges from quite sweet to rather tart. Strawberries are an important commercial fruit crop, widely grown in all temperate regions of the world."

Trifolium / Clover

"Clover (Trifolium), or trefoil, is a genus of about 300 species of plants in the leguminous pea family Fabaceae. The genus has a cosmopolitan distribution; the highest diversity is found in the temperate Northern Hemisphere, but many species also occur in South America and Africa, including at high altitudes on mountains in the tropics. (...) Clovers occasionally have leaves with four leaflets, instead of the usual three. These four-leaf clovers, like other rarities, are considered lucky."

Macul de câmp / Poppy on the field.

"Macul de câmp (Papaver rhoeas) este o plantă cu flori din familia Papaveraceae. Semințele sunt utilizate în industria alimentară. În literatura persană macul roșu este considerat floarea iubirii. Perioada infloririi: Mai-Aprilie."
"A Poppy is a flowering plant in the subfamily Papaveroideae of the family Papaveraceae. (...) Following the trench warfare which took place in the poppy fields of Flanders, during the 1st World War, red poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of soldiers who have died during wartime."

"What wonder?!" ... "April's Updates"!!

"What wonder?!" ...
Intro: "What I thought in recent days" or ....
..."what I had in my mind?"....

..."Some will say that in the last two days... the "autumn's rains have come back".. blah. blah..."yap, ... It's a rainy season in place of a shinny Spring look!!" so what?... But, you see, it's such a "renewing attitude"..  (it looks alike) at least...in forecast! Winter it's gone... new buds - all over... green branches... coloured blooms, perfect shapes...
Aspects discovered from the windows, on the alleys, in spring the fantastic scenery it turns with a quite unusual speed, a rapid development of nature at all levels... along with a inner flourishment of soul, fabulous way of thinking, rethinking of and with the hope to see things with the power to startle...and finally to improve lives!

Spring!! well.... sort of Spring - with details that it seems to be from other tales, other seasons.... other "behaviours" kind of way to explain what's right or wrong in equation...just to say so...

"I saw a tree"...
You'll ask: "what kind of tree?"
"I saw a lilac in full bloom"...then a magnolium tree... then...well... a willow, lots of them... and  lots of ducks...

"What  wonder?!" .... lots of... really?... where?"...

..."believe me...  "it's a wonder"... if you want I'll go to show you, right away!"... just a sec... see...  I'll do a short click ...on this folder"... what wonder?!!..."
