One picture or more. From time to time. (28) Despre neputinta intr-o lume a instrainarii. About human helplessness.

Despre neputință într-o lume a înstrăinării.
About the powerlessness in a world of alienation.

In memory of my beloved Puiu Miță, july 2003 - 27.05.2019

"That I am ill, that you are ill, that we are ill, we know too well.
That I'm losing, that you are losing, that we are losing, we know, again, too well.
That you have forgot, that I've I've forgot, that, we all forget - often, of course, it is known.
As between, all these and the sensations in the threads, a fine line is drawn,
as an "à propos", so subtle between indifference and self-forgetfulness,
as between a desolate "je m'en fiche de toi", spread without shame, paradoxal,
as if I were laughing at you, you at me, chaotic until apoplexy.
That we are sick, that you are sick, that I am sick
of this scarcity, afraid of not being good, among all these,
what is gradually lost in the hypocrisy of life,
that we negociate, in order to not lose ourselves between ecstasy and agony,
between "I'm fine", saying this for itself, for not to give any suspicion,
that we're complaining in fact, without a bit of strenght and enthusiasm, a latent balance,
as between, today and yesterday, between yesterday and tomorrow
that it may no longer come.
That you are sick, that I am sick, that we are sick, indeed, we all know too well.
And we forget, nonchalantly, to give ourselves that respite for a feeling of better.
That, we all forget, that, I forget, that, you forgot how to be, how to live,
Beyond any wandering drama, because from ignorance, we all can lose

Between indifference, desolation, forgetfulness and alienation... the natural, but human helplessness. "

"Write it on your heart
Blue Lagoon, Sithonia, Greece, September 2019
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays."**

Echoes of the heart like a Christmas carol. Ecourile inimii ca un colind de Crăciun. Merry Christmas! Crăciun Fericit!

Till Christmas, carols as old echoes. Până la Crăciun, colinde ca vechi ecouri.
An orange sunset. And a sweet sponge cake with cocoa and nuts.
(December aspects, below).
Green willow tree in december, 10. (below) Salcie verde în decembrie.
And first snowflakes in december, 13. Prima ninsoare, în 13 decembrie.
Green willow tree in december, 10. Salcie verde în decembrie.
First snowflakes in december, 13.

"Let's say it's already Christmas
and let's say that it snows, already
and the white snow is nicely spread all over...

All is well, all is bright!

Let's say, we're nearly and side by side
and, still, let's say, that it snows outside...
That all that can be felt is a silent bliss.

All is well, all is bright!

Let's say we're far from the city noise,
let's say is warm inside and full of joy,
and all around us, we're hearing the echo of old carols.

All is well, all is bright!

Let's say that all we have for now
it's this jolly White Christmas time,
a time like a soothing balm for our heart.

All is well, all is bright!

And Season's greetings with a good cheer
let's forever remain in our restless souls,
keeping the silent feeling of lasting bliss.

All is bright when all is well!"

About Cake:

"Cake *is a form of sweet dessert that is typically baked. In its oldest forms, cakes were modifications of breads, but cakes now cover a wide range of preparations that can be simple or elaborate, and that share features with other desserts such as pastries, meringues, custards, and pies.
Typical cake ingredients are flour, sugar, eggs, butter or oil, a liquid, and leavening agents, such as baking soda and/or baking powder. Common additional ingredients and flavourings include dried, candied, or fresh fruit, nuts, cocoa, and extracts such as vanilla, with numerous substitutions for the primary ingredients. Cakes can also be filled with fruit preserves or dessert sauces (like pastry cream), iced with buttercream or other icings, and decorated with marzipan, piped borders, or candied fruit.

Cake is often served as a celebratory dish on ceremonial occasions..."
"There are countless cake recipes; some are bread-like, some are rich and elaborate, and many are centuries old. Cake making is no longer a complicated procedure; while at one time considerable labor went into cake making (particularly the whisking of egg foams), baking equipment and directions have been simplified so that even the most amateur cook may bake a cake.
History
The term "cake" has a long history. The word itself is of Viking origin, from the Old Norse word "kaka".
Ancient Greeks called the Cakes as “plakous” which was derived from the word “flat". It was baked using flour mixed with eggs, milk, nuts and honey. They also had a cake called “satura,” which was a flat heavy cake. During the Roman period, the name for cake became “placenta” which was derived from the Greek term. Placenta were baked on a pastry base or inside a pastry case
Although clear examples of the difference between cake and bread are easy to find, the precise classification has always been elusive. For example, banana bread may be properly considered either a quick bread or a cake.

The Greeks invented beer as a leavener, frying fritters in olive oil, and cheesecakes using goat's milk. In ancient Rome, basic bread dough was sometimes enriched with butter, eggs, and honey, which produced a sweet and cake-like baked good. Latin poet Ovid refers his and his brother's birthday party and cake in his first book of exile, Tristia.
Early cakes in England were also essentially bread: the most obvious differences between a "cake" and "bread" were the round, flat shape of the cakes, and the cooking method, which turned cakes over once while cooking, while bread was left upright throughout the baking process.

Sponge cakes, leavened with beaten eggs, originated during the Renaissance, possibly in Spain."

"Sponge cake * is a cake based on flour (usually wheat flour), sugar, and eggs, and is sometimes leavened with baking powder. It has a firm, yet well aerated structure, similar to a sea sponge.
In the United Kingdom a sponge cake may be produced by the batter method or the foam method, while in the US cakes made using the batter method are known as a butter or pound cake. Two common British batter method sponge cakes are the layered Victoria sponge cake and Madeira cake.
Sponge cake made using the foam method is sometimes referred to as a whisked sponge in the UK. These cakes are common in Europe, especially in Italian patisseries. The cake was first invented by the Italian pastry chef Giovan Battista Cabona called Giobatta, at the court of Spain with his lord, the Genoese marquis Domenico Pallavicini, around the middle of the 16th century.

The sponge cake is thought to be one of the first of the non-yeasted cakes..."
"Variations on the theme of a cake lifted, partially or wholly, by trapped air in the batter exist in most places where European patisserie has spread...."

Surâzând, îmi spun: n-am noroc.

Tainic e visul ivit fără rost,
pierdut printre alte atâtea ce au fost.
Parafrazez cu tot ceea ce a mai fost,
Căutând un sens evident sau un rost.

The hidden dream, pointless emerged lost among others, among many that they were. I paraphrase with everything that it was before, and I'm seeking for an obvious sense or meaning. In memoriam:
The unforgettable Freddie Mercury;

R.I.P. 5 September, 1946 - 24 November, 1991
"Delilah" is a song by British rock band Queen. Written and sung by Freddie Mercury, it was originally released on their fourteenth studio album Innuendo in 1991.
Delilah is a song Mercury penned for his favourite female tortoiseshell cat, which was called Delilah. It was one of the first completed tracks on the album. Brian May recorded his solo using a talk box. It was written in the key of G Major. Reportedly, Roger Taylor was not fond of the song and agreed to let it be included in the album only at Mercury's insistence." *click to read more info about Delilah on Wikipedia.

About  quotation: "Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum"...
Excerpts from Wikipedia :
"Cogito ergo sum[a] is a Latin philosophical proposition by René Descartes usually translated into English as "I think, therefore I am". The phrase originally appeared in French as "je pense, donc je suis" in his Discourse on the Method, so as to reach a wider audience than Latin would have allowed. It appeared in Latin in his later Principles of Philosophy. As Descartes explained, "[W]e cannot doubt of our existence while we doubt … ." A fuller form, dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum ("I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am"),[b] aptly captures Descartes' intent."
Other forms
"The proposition is sometimes given as "dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum". This fuller form was penned by the eloquent French literary critic, Antoine Léonard Thomas, in an award-winning 1765 essay in praise of Descartes, where it appeared as "Puisque je doute, je pense; puisque je pense, j'existe." In English, this is "Since I doubt, I think, since I think I exist"; with rearrangement and compaction, "I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am", or in Latin, dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum.
A further expansion, "dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum—res cogitans" ("…—a thinking thing") extends the cogito with Descartes' statement in the subsequent Meditation, "Ego sum res cogitans, id est dubitans, affirmans, negans, pauca intelligens, multa ignorans, volens, nolens, imaginans etiam et sentiens …", or, in English, "I am a thinking (conscious) thing, that is, a being who doubts, affirms, denies, knows a few objects, and is ignorant of many …". This has been referred to as "the expanded cogito"."
Predecessors
Although the idea expressed in cogito ergo sum is widely attributed to Descartes, he was not the first to mention it. Plato spoke about the "knowledge of knowledge" (Greek νόησις νοήσεως nóesis noéseos) and Aristotle explains the idea in full length:
But if life itself is good and pleasant (...) and if one who sees is conscious that he sees, one who hears that he hears, one who walks that he walks and similarly for all the other human activities there is a faculty that is conscious of their exercise, so that whenever we perceive, we are conscious that we perceive, and whenever we think, we are conscious that we think, and to be conscious that we are perceiving or thinking is to be conscious that we exist... (Nicomachean Ethics, 1170a25 ff.)"
