• "Vulcanii Noroioși de la Pâclele Mari este o arie
  
  protejată de interes național ce corespunde categoriei a IV-a IUCN (rezervație naturală, tip geologic și botanic, situată în județul Buzău, pe teritoriul administrativ al comunei Scorțoasa.

Rezervația naturală se află la o altitudine de 322 m, are o suprafață de 22 ha și reprezintă o zonă de interes geologic și botanic, datorită celor două cratere de vulcani noroioși aflate pe platou și a două specii de plante halofile (plante ce se dezvoltă în mediu sărat) Nitraria schoberi și Obione verrucifera."

"Muddy Volcanoes from Pâclele Mari is a protected area of national interest corresponding IUCN category IV (nature reserve, geological and botanical, located in Buzau County, the territory of the commune Scorțoasa. 


Nature Reserve is situated at an altitude of 322 m, has an area of 22 hectares and is a geological and botanical area of interest due to the two craters of mud volcanoes located on the plateau and two species of halophilic plants (plants that grow in salty environment) Nitraria schoberi and Obione verrucifera."
