A selection of "postcards"...if I may say so: I'll start a serie from now and I'll continue in the next posts...

At this special event, a "short walk" - from University Square to the Lipscani Street (a commercial historic lane or zone of the city) - is required in order to see what we can find to plan for a visit or have a quick look... 
The night is coming fast... and the visitors are already in line at BNR (National Bank of Romania), so we're going to continue on the streets of Lipscani in search for two spots: Carturesti Library and the Expo Design from the Hanul Gabroveni (the historical place is included on the list of Night of Museums)...

But first: let's see a "souvenirs boutique" or shop with lots of beautiful popular items: costumes, ceramics plates or cups, all sort of traditional popular things...

Of course, an red item seen and named "catrinte" (in the window of shop) is bought by my sister just to complete her traditional port (a folk costume) with a new element.

Now, let's go further...to the Carturesti Library. Recently open is a special place to remember, to keep in mind in order to come back as soon as possible for new books for home collection. To come back to see new published books, or to read a book, comfortably, and/or to buy them as a gift just like the one I've received it in that night as a B-day present from my sister part...
It sound lovely, right? My sister is a funny person, warm and very social, she's bringing lots of joy and confidence, just like my others sisters in their own ways... Thankful for all of them...  

The night is on the way to have more surprises at every corner... at this  cultural and historical, european event...

"2014 The 2014 theme for World Environment Day will focus on 'Small Islands and Climate Change', the official slogan for the year 2014 is 'Raise Your Voice Not The Sea Level."

     Some days ago (actually weeks when I wrote a post  about Spring in march/april) I've said that I'll do a post dedicated to my sister and her lovely green yard.  (About the experience from march/april I had no chance to put my words on paper to describe all the activities from the early spring... Who knows...hope that one day I'll do it!!)

Well... I think that's the day... so...let me to tell you about spring and gardening!

Cu câteva zile în urmă (în fapt săptămâni) am spus că voi scrie un post cel voi dedica surorii mele, Rox, și minunatei ei curti. Ei bine ... Cred că aceasta e ziua ... așa că ...

               At the beginning of May I was in her garden and I've took some pictures, photo instants of flowers and different details from and in her green yard.

              
               La începutul lunii mai -  am fost în grădina ei și am facut poze cu flori, precum și cu diferite aspecte capturate prin și în curtea ei verde.

                   
                Flowers of clovers, dandelion, quince and fruits of mirabelles and apricots...
                                 Flori de trifoi, păpădie, gutui și fructe de corcuduș și caise ...

              I have to say that she is the one taking care of her colourful blooms, plants, fruit trees and garden, as well (previously without having no such suitable training in matter), but she's doing a great job with all sorts of gardening activities: planting, sorting, cutting...

              Trebuie să spun că ea este aceea care are grijă de florile colorate ei, de plante, de pomii fructiferi si grădină, de asemenea, (fără a avea nici o formare prealabilă sau adecvată în materie), dar ceea ce contează e că face o treabă bună, cu tot felul de activități de grădinărit: plantare, sortare, tăiere ...

              Oh... Gosh.... yes, for instance she's cutting, often, the green weeds or tall grass  on parcels.... and  again and again just because (nb. the fresh green grass) is having such "a bad temper" growing so fast!!!

             Oh ... Doamne .... da, ca exemplificare, ea taie, foarte adesea, buruienile verzi sau iarba înaltă de pe parcele .... și din nou și din nou, doar pentru că iarba (nb. iarba poaspăt crescută) are un astfel de  "temperament rău" recrescănd atât de repede!

 It makes such a bad impression to see that  the grass and "wild" plants can possible suffocate the young buds and flowers in process of growing!!.... It makes sense to you... ?  

         Se face astfel o impresie proastă cănd vezi, cu maximă putință, că iarba și plantele "sălbatice" pot sufoca tineri mugurii și florile, aflate în procesul de creștere! .... Are ceva sens, nu ...?

 LOL... but how rewarding is the experience obtained in such way... that you can say: "next time it will be better"... So...No work... no reward!...

     LOL ... dar cât de plină de satisfacții este experiența obținută în așa fel ... încât la final se poate spune: "data viitoare va fi mai bine" ... Deci, cine nu muncește ... nici o recompensă nu primește! ... 

      And finally... what true joy it must be to see a well maintained garden  and so pretty "garnished" with little garden gnomes and kind of so "cute" things spreaded, all over, especially on a small alley like in a very imaginary small city in the "Small Sis...land" (sister land) !! ;) wow ... I just said lots of "small"... of course all of them are small.... just to have ourselves fun while we're looking at them!!

     Și, în sfârșit ... ce bucurie adevărată trebuie să fie pentru a vedea o grădină, bine întreținută astfel, și așa de drăguț "garnisită" cu pitici de grădină si tot felul de  lucruri "haioase" răspăndite, peste tot, mai ales pe o alee mică ca într-un imaginar oraș mic în "Small Sis...land"("Mica Tara a Surorii!" ;) 
 Wow ... tocmai am spus  o mulțime de "mici" ... si desigur, toate acestea sunt mici .... doar căt să ne distrăm în timp ce le privim!

And sure.... She's so energetical, full of passion with such optimistic elan from the beginning of Spring (actually from the moments when she was able to avoid the mud and humidity)...  untill she'll see, once again, the new cutted green weeds or grass... growing so fast around her beautiful blooms and green trees...

Si desigur... Este atat de energetică, plină de pasiune cu un elan optimist încă de la începutul Primăverii (de fapt, chiar din momentul în care s-au putut evita noroiul și umiditatea atmosferică)... pană cănd va vedea că noua iarbă taiată sau buruienile... vor crește într-atăt de repede în jurul frumoaselor flori și copacilor înfrunziți...

      ...Weeds and green grass  that with God's grace will be grewing, once again,  thanks to these so frecvently "rain showers" from the last  days or weeks or .... months?!!

      ...Buruieni sau iarbă verde ce prin gratia divină va recrește, încă o dată, multumită frecventelor "dușuri" de ploaie din ultimele zile sau săptămani sau... luni, chiar?!!

Rain lasts... and it lasts... what can we say? changeable weather worldwide...

Ploile durează... și durează... ce-am putea spune? vreme schimbătoare peste tot in lume...

            I enjoyed every moment that  I used to "wander" in her beautiful garden... while... the pale sun was right in there along with the blue pale sky and puffy clouds, too ... and for some moments in the company of those so mirific spring flowers, so gorgeous at those very instants...

             M-am bucurat de fiecare clipă pe care am petrecut-o "hoinărind" în grădina ei minunată... în timp ce... soarele, cam palid, se afla chiar acolo alături de cerul de-un albastru pal și acoperit de norii pufoși...  
și, pentru ceva vreme, însoțită de compania mirificelor flori de primăvară, superbe la acele momente...

Ce ar mai fi de spus, de adăugat?

      I was lost in ... oh, no.."not in transition"...
                  lol...
     M-am pierdut în... oh, nu... "nu în tranziție"... 
                    lol...

who's left ("hanging")in there?! ...  wow... Please bring back the Spring....
"coș de cârlige în copac?" pe bune?... 
cine a rămas ("agățat")?!... wow.. adu, te rog, Primăvara înapoi"...

..."sorry !!!".... who's sorry?"...  Nonsense! .... please don't let me hang in there like a basket in the tree...  waiting for the recreation time at sunshine?!"... how absurd... stupid dialog... it's too much said and done in blue!!"....oh... Gosh!"... 

...Pardon!!! ... cui îi pare rău? "... Prostii! .... te rog nu mă lăsa să stau atărnat precum un coș în copac ... asteptănd timpul de recreere la soare?! "... cât de absurd ... ce dialog stupid ... e prea mult spus și făcut în "trista aiureală"!" .... oh ... Doamne! "...

M-am pierdut de fapt, într-o frumusețe plină de culoare:

....in Blue all over (As a thinking pause from... What else? annoying daily  thoughts)...

.... în albastru peste tot (ca o pauză in gândire de la ... Ce altceva? gândurile enervante zilnice) ...

....in bright and sensitive Pink ( charming to see the pale pink shade spreaded at blooms as a mood reflection or joy)...

...în roz strălucitor și sensibil (fermecător in a vedea nuanta de roz pal răspândită la flori ca o reflectare a stării de spirit sau bucurie exprimată) ...

Flower of pink magnolia... (it bloomed second time)

..   in so fresh greenery (as texture), Green shades that used to hide the clear light of infinite time and "sparkling" all over... (imagination can be so tricky to play with thinking... sometimes) right?

.... În verdeață atât de proaspăt (ca textură), nuante de verde ce pot ascunde lumina clară a timpului infinit și "stralucitor" de peste tot ... (imaginatia ne poate pune la incercare gândirea ... uneori) corect, nu-i așa?

....in any color I could find in there... Yellow (no... not as a bad feeling or emotion, but as the shinny color of  sun that  will bring warmth in hearts, for sure in fully... in next season!!...),

.... în orice culoare am putut găsi acolo ... galben (nu. .. nu ca o senzație de rău sau de emoție, ci mai degrabă ca o culoare stralucitoare solară, soare ce va aduce căldură în inimi, desigur în totalitate ... în sezonul următor! ...),
 
.... Red... as a color of optimism, positivity and the way of spreading of joyful mood all around us...

.... Roșu ... ca o culoare optimistă, de pozitivitate și o modalitate de răspândire a stării de veselie peste tot în jurul nostru ...

 And please note... my boots are blue... ;)

....Orange and Violet or Purple ( some "passional" nuances, also... though "seldom" seen in these pics)...
...Portocaliu și violet sau purpuriu (unele nuanțe "pasionale", de asemenea, ... deși, "rareori", văzute în aceste poze) ...
