"Măsor cu Ochi pătrunzător

Orice Durere-mi iese în cale -

Mă-ntreb de cântăreşte cât a Mea

Ori mai uşoară pare.

Mă-ntreb de e răbdată mai de mult

Ori tocmai a început -

De Când o am pe a Mea - nu ştiu -

A-mbătrânit de mult

Mă-ntreb - Acei loviţi în viaţă

De-ar fi să îndure a doua oară

Şi de-ar putea alege - ar mai încerca -

Ori poate ar vrea să moară -

Pe Unii-i văd - cum suferă îndelung -
