Of course, this is a very known recipe in many ways of cooking or in worldwide cuisines.
Some interesting infos - that I could find them about - I have already shared in a previous post and posted two years ago.So, if you're interested, you can read about Fried White Courgettes or Hobak-Jeon/Korean Pan Fried Courgette, here.
Now, back to the presented topic, a lovely way to cook courgettes and so similar to the romanian recipe of "dovlecei pane", it is the recipe of "Hobakjeon" in the korean cooking style.
The dish is called Hobak-Jeon or Korean Pan Fried Courgette.
INGREDIENTS
1 medium-large zucchini, sliced into 1/4 inch coins
1/2 Cup Flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp salt
1-2 Tbsp vegetable or olive oil (for saute pan).
"Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
PREPARATION
Distribute 1 tsp salt over zucchini slices.
Add remaining 1 tsp salt to beaten egg.
Put flour and egg in separate shallow dishes next to stove.
Heat lightly greased saute pan to medium heat.
Coat zucchini coins first with flour, and then dip and coat with beaten egg and place into pan.
Saute zucchini for about 3-4 minutes per side, turning once, or until they are a light golden brown.
You can serve with the basic or spicy dipping sauces or nothing at all.
(Serves 4 as a side dish)."

Dovlecei prăjiți în stilul meu:
- 1 Cup Flour/ 1 Cupa Făină;
- 2 eggs, beaten/ 2 ouă, bătute;
- 1 tsp salt/ 1 lingurită de sare;
- Ground black pepper/ Piper negru;
- Garlic sauce/ Sos de usturoi;
- 1-2 Tbsp vegetable oil (for saute pan)/ 1-2 linguri de ulei vegetal (pentru prăjit).
Tip: Before to start to cook in the pan, put the peeled zucchini slices in a colander along with some salt and set aside for 1 hour to drain.
Saute zucchini slices for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, turning once or until they are a lightly golden brown.
You can serve them with the basic or spicy dipping sauces or nothing at all, according to personal taste.
To personalize the original recipe I've added a bit of garlic sauce and ground black pepper.

that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.*"

Delicios!
-*-**-**incerc mereu sa imi imbunatatesc reteta, imi dau silinta. :) ;)din timp in timp, mai gasesc idei, ma inspir, de ici de 'colo; caut sa le pun in practica, deh, poate aflu ceva nou.
ȘtergereMultumesc frumos de ganduri, Diana! O saptamana frumoasa si plina de armonie!
Ador dovleceii pane!
O saptamana minunata, draga Alexa!
Looks delicious!
RăspundețiȘtergereThank you so much1
RăspundețiȘtergereDaa, super...chiar exista clatite si in korean style. :)
Ștergeremultumesc de idei! O saptamana frumoasa!
Looks so delicious Alexa!
RăspundețiȘtergereIndeed, simple delicious! thank you!

RăspundețiȘtergereThank you for sharing these tasty recipes... and the interesting quotations. The Recipe for Happiness looks so simple, but it's not always easy.
Have a happy week! Big hugs!
Thank you so! Indeed, the recipe for happiness looks simple, but actually..."it's not always easy" as you have already said.
ȘtergereHave a happy week, too! Cordially greetings!
Our zukes are just forming so I can't wait to fry some...yummy!
RăspundețiȘtergereFor sure yummy; those "zukes" from garden are the best!!*-*

RăspundețiȘtergereThank you so much, as well!
ȘtergereYes, I will definitely come to dinner if you serve these, but my husband will abstain because he doesn't like zuchinni. That Emerson quote is one I think is very true.
RăspundețiȘtergereGladly; you're welcome! indeed, it took me, quite some time to find a recipe on my taste, as well, and actually to enjoy summer zucchini... for instance I can't eat courgettes in stew or in another kind of preparation. Still vegetables are welcome in various, healthy foods!
ȘtergereGreetings!
I like zucchini, especially fried like this! Yours looks delicious
RăspundețiȘtergereIndeed, fried zucchini are delicious! Thank you!

RăspundețiȘtergereThank you so much!
ȘtergereMy two young granddaughters are Frozen fans! Thanks Alexa for making Foto Tunes part of your week. Stop back again.
RăspundețiȘtergereThank you so much! gladly, back again.
Ștergerelooks delicious.. I do mine without any coating at all though (like you say it used to be done in the old days --which figures because I am old myself ;>))) I add lots of sliced onions and salt and pepper. What your recipe says about the temperature of the oil is very true!.
RăspundețiȘtergereThank you; in article's excerpts, there are, these mentions about cooking, indeed; And I presume that it must be more healthy cooked without any coating (for those with some medical issues, digestive problems or something else)
ȘtergereThank you for the tip; i'll try someday with slices of onion and black pepper!
That is exactly how large zucchinis are cooked in Greece, Alexa. We often have this at home with zucchinis grown in our garden :-)
RăspundețiȘtergereGood to see you sharing your photos on the Friday Greens meme, hope to see more of them this week.
It is for sure a joy to have for cooking some grown vegetables in gardens; the most healthy vegetables! Here, i've bought them from the local market.
ȘtergereThank you so much for the mentions, similarities about traditional cooking! Thank you and a good day at Friday Greens meme!
Mmm - so delicious!
RăspundețiȘtergereLooks yummy! I almost never cook zucchini. I use it raw in salads. I might have to try this though.
