I could live in any part of the world...
 I suppose...

But the truth is that I live in Bucharest* the city who it used to be once called "Little Paris" (in the interbelic period)...

A city that... somehow makes me to wonder by and to feel so amazed by the views & sights that I can simply find in my short seasonal walks...

So...
I decided to pay more attention... to observe the city, the people and the beauty that surrounds them... to even look carefully through the lens of a tourist photo camera...

Yes... I decided to become a tourist in my own town!!

Stunning idea, right?!

I love to wonder, to explore, "to see things with the power to startle", to observe different and various aspects...

So, starting from this point of view... why not to begin this adventure through the exploration of the city from the nearby surroundings, right, in the local area?...

How it sounds to you, all this? I mean... it would be it nice to see lots of monuments and buildings, museums, parks, alleys and so on... just thinking ourselves that we're tourists for a moment?!...

It makes sense to you? to be a tourist in your own city every time you'll have the chance to be near a special place...

Just think of that...

I already started... and I'll share with you that item (or element) that will make me to be amazed like for instance the Opera National House... for today...

"Already a tradition of the institution, the event, which annually attracts thousands of people, will be held on the esplanade of the Opera (to MK Boulevard) and entry is free. Unlike previous editions, this year's event will include, besides the famous opera titles, known choreographic works, both classical repertoire and contemporary of representing an absolute novelty in the history of the event. According to the release ONB, the eighth edition of Opera Promenade will be, like last year, the preview of the upcoming season of the institution, occasioning disclosure main titles, special events and related cultural activities. The 2014-2015 season premieres of whose fragments are included in the art of the concert are works by Verdi "La Traviata" directed by Paul Curran and "Falstaff" in the director's vision of the famous Graham Vick, "Manon Lescaut" by Giacomo Puccini, directed by Jonathan Kent. Also, on the evening of August 30 dance lovers will enjoy the new dances ballet productions like "La fille mal gardée" by Ferdinand Herold and John Lanchbery, choreography by Sir Frederick Ashton and "Giselle" by Adolphe Adam, choreographed by Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg."

Aș fi putut trăi/locui în orice parte a lumii ... Presupun că aș putea...

Dar adevărul este că locuiesc în București, un oraș care se numea odată "Micul Paris" (în perioada interbelică) 

Un oraș care ... - într-un fel aparte - mă face să mă mir/ minunez și, totodată, să mă simt atât de uimită de punctele de atractie și obiectivele turistice pe care le pot găsi pur și simplu, în scurtele mele plimbări de sezon...

Deci ...
Am decis să acord mai multă atenție ... pentru a observa orașul, oamenii și frumusețea ce îi înconjoară ... să mă uit cu atenție in jur ca ș i cum aș privi chiar prin lentila unui aparat foto ...

Da ... am decis să mă transform intr-un turist ad-hoc prin orașul meu !!

Idee excelentă, nu-i așa ?!

Îmi place să mă întreb, să explorez, "pentru a vedea lucrurile ce au puterea de a surprinde", pentru a observa diferite și variate aspecte ... 

Deci, pornind de la acest punct de vedere ... de ce nu, pentru a începe această aventură prin explorarea orașului de la mediul din jur, chiar, în zona locală? ...
 
Cum sună toate astea? Vreau să spun ... că ar fi frumos să putem vedea o mulțime de monumente si clădiri, muzee, parcuri, alei și așa mai departe ... doar gândindu-ne că suntem turiști pentru un moment, ad-hoc?! ...

Are sens ce spun?...

Adică cum ar fi să devenim turisti în propriul oraș de fiecare dată cănd vom avea șansa de a fi aproape de un loc special ...

Gândește-te la asta ...
 
Eu am început deja ... și voi incerca să împărtășesc cu voi acel element care mă va uimi... ca de exemplu...  Opera Națională, mai bine zis, evenimentul special din seara aceasta.

"Preluând modelul manifestărilor de amploare realizate de instituțiile de gen din Europa, precum teatrele de operă din Londra, Paris, Roma, Viena, Berlin, Madrid sau Praga, Opera Națională București organizează anual, pe Esplanada Operei, un concert extraordinar în aer liber, cu acces gratuit. Începând din anul 2007, aici se adună mii de spectatori dornici să guste, pentru o seară, din frumusețea muzicii clasice. Dacă în edițiile precedente accentul cădea în principal pe promovarea artiștilor teatrului, din 2013 conceptul evenimentului este diferit, urmărindu-se dezvăluirea noilor proiecte ale Operei Naționale București, printr-un spectacol fastuos care să cuprindă fragmente din premierele următoare.* "

"Devenit deja o tradiţie a instituţiei, evenimentul, care atrage anual mii de oameni, se desfăşoară şi anul acesta pe esplanada Operei (spre Bulevardul Mihail Kogălniceanu), iar intrarea este liberă.

Spre deosebire de ediţiile trecute, evenimentul din 2014 include, pe lângă titluri celebre de operă, şi lucrări coregrafice cunoscute, atât din repertoriul clasic, cât şi din cel contemporan, fapt ce reprezintă o noutate absolută în istoria evenimentului. Această ediţie a Promenadei Operei se constituie, la fel ca anul trecut, ca avanpremieră a viitoarei stagiuni a instituţiei, prilejuind dezvăluirea principalelor titluri, evenimente speciale şi activităţi culturale conexe. 

Printre premierele din stagiunea 2014-2015, ale căror fragmente sunt incluse în programul artistic al concertului, se numără operele verdiene „La traviata” în regia lui Paul Curran şi „Falstaff” în viziunea regizorala a celebrului Graham Vick, „Manon Lescaut” de Giacomo Puccini, în regia lui Jonathan Kent. De asemenea, iubitorii dansului se pot bucura de momente coregrafice ale noilor producţii de balet precum „La fille mal gardée” de Ferdinand Hérold şi John Lanchbery, în coregrafia lui Sir Frederick Ashton şi „Giselle” de Adolphe Adam, în coregrafia lui Ethan Stiefel şi Johan Kobborg.

La „Promenada Operei” 2014 participă unele dintre cele mai îndrăgite voci ale primei scene lirice a ţării, precum şi invitaţi din România şi din străinătate (inclusiv laureaţi ai celei de-a doua ediţii a Concursului Internaţional „Le Grand Prix de l’Opera”, organizată de ONB), în acompaniamentul Orchestrei şi al Corului instituţiei. Conducerea muzicală îi aparţine dirijorului Cristian Sandu.*"
