..."Deep words … They are like the scent of a flower"...

Words "Warm words, fine words, deep words … They are like the scent of a flower in the night that one cannot see. Behind them lurks empty space … Perhaps they are the curling smoke from the warm hearth of love?"

Words
"Warm words, fine words, deep words …
They are like the scent of a flower in the night
that one cannot see.
Behind them lurks empty space …
Perhaps they are the curling smoke
from the warm hearth of love?"

"We are all different. By happiness"
We are all different. By happiness./ Suntem cu toții diferiți. Din fericire.

The Road to Happiness "We are not supposed to know how miracles happen, - there is no road to happiness, no happy one can recall the path that led him to happiness’s secret door. Alas, to hunt the bird of happiness is to go without roads and to take without hands. To be king in happiness’s fairy-tale is to stand dumbfounded and amazed.

The Road to Happiness

"We are not supposed to know
how miracles happen, -
there is no road to happiness,
no happy one can recall the path
that led him to happiness’s secret door.
Alas, to hunt the bird of happiness
is to go without roads
and to take without hands.
To be king in happiness’s fairy-tale
is to stand dumbfounded and amazed.

..."Alas, to hunt the bird of happiness is to go without roads and to take without hands. To be king in happiness’s fairy-tale is to stand dumbfounded and amazed."...

"We wait for miracles from the day,
the day fades cold and pale.
Ask again, tired brain,
is your dream, the star of your happiness,
fraud and guile?"

Details. Just details.

Luck Cat

"I have a luck cat in my arms,
it spins threads of luck.
Luck cat, luck cat,
make for me three things:
make for me a golden ring,
to tell me that I am lucky;
make for me a mirror
to tell me that I am beautiful;
make for me a fan
to waft away my cumbersome thoughts.
Luck cat, luck cat,
spin for me some news of my future!"

"Just details". Excerpts from my previous post:

"Aspects discovered from the windows, on the alleys, in spring the fantastic scenery it turns with a quite unusual speed, a rapid development of nature at all levels... along with a inner flourishment of soul, fabulous way of thinking, rethinking of and with the hope to see things with the power to startle...and finally to improve lives!!!

Spring!! well.... sort of Spring with details that seems to be from other tales, other seasons.... other "behaviours" to look to explain what's right or wrong in equation...

"I saw a tree"..."

Nota bene:

Thank you Michelle for the post on your blog and such good question of the article presented as a subject..."When Nature Speaks, Who Are You Hearing?"

I appreciate so much these excerpts (as a conclusion):

(...) "But at some point explanations of all and every kind become nothing more than words. They flatten into just symbols on a page, a “thing” which must be held in the mind. In that essential sense they are always secondary to experience.

The older I get the more I begin to think that the philosopher was at least partially correct when he held that, for all our inquiry into the “objective world,” human beings never get a direct view of things-in-and-of-themselves. Despite the power of our reasoning (including science), we can not get direct access to some perfectly objective, perfect “God’s eye” view of universe. Instead, the view we gain is mediated. It’s filtered by what Kant called “categories,” which for him were things like space, time and causation.
(...)
These whispers even appear at the edges of our explanations. They are what give explanations their power to enthrall us and ignite our awe. They animate the fierce poetic economy of mathematical physics and the thrall of Hubble Space Telescope images. In this way science, too, becomes a gateway to the experience of sacredness.

In the end, what we have is a conversation, a lifelong dialogue with life. It’s a conversation expressed not in words but in the immediacy of experience and the poetry of the one, single now. And that is exactly where the experience of sacredness lives."

    1. Hello Poppy,
Weather is so unpredictable! right? in almost all the parts of the world - so unusual meteo changes reported... but I'm still optimistic and in calm waiting for a sunny period of time just in time to celebrate Easter... what can I say? you're right to miss you so much, Crete, but "it looks more like Christmas atmosphere" worlwide...

  9. I loved the poem about happiness. I don't believe in searching for happiness. I think you have to find happiness where you are. Thank you for your comments on my post. They made me happy.

    1. Thank you for expressed thoughts about happiness! Edith's poem says quite clear: " there is no road to happiness,
no happy one can recall the path

So... I believe in happiness - but that one that can be found in details around us...
